ThE Creators

Ryan is a writer and educator with over 20 years of experience telling stories and designing experiences that convey deeper truths about our world to elementary school children. As an advocate for children, Ryan seeks to remind the world that kids are fully human with stories that matter and ideas that people of all ages could benefit to learn from. When Ryan became a father to two young boys, he recognized a distinct gap in meaningful media for older elementary children and tweens that teaches social-emotional skills. Our actual play series is our response to that need. Ryan seeks to inspire and empower children to enact kindness, mercy, and justice in the world around them.

Allison has 20+ years of experience in education, extra-curricular activities, and camps for middle and high school youth. As a lifelong fan of storytelling, primarily in the genres of fantasy and sci-fi, she fell down the rabbit hole of Tabletop Roleplaying after a Pathfinder one-shot in 2010. When inspired to use D&D as a conflict resolution tool for her students in 2018, she was delighted to discover the many developmental reinforcement applications in what was clearly “more than just a game”. Now a mother to two self-proclaimed “warrior princesses”, Allison continues to tell stories and inspire families and educators to facilitate kids discovering and sharing their own stories through TTRPGs.

Raenelle has 20 years of experience developing educational programs for children and youth. Raenelle’s first experience with TTRPGs was in 2022 with The Kids Table! When Raenelle first agreed to play D&D with her daughter alongside friends Ryan, Allison, & others, she quickly developed an appreciation for D&D as an experience that fosters learning among multiple learning intelligences, subjects, and age groups at the same time and in the same environment. She is passionate about encouraging social-emotional skill development throughout all life stages. She also believes that D&D is an activity that can help deepen and strengthen the relationship between parents and children.
The CAST
Our West and East Coast adventurers include a rotating cast of players and Game Masters, ranging from age 6 through adults.
Our current main campaign cast: Ori (6), Kamden (6), Beckett (10), Khloe (10), Dillon (16), Raenelle (mom to Khloe & Kamden), & Ryan (DM/Dad to Beckett & Ori).
